FEB ASTRO WEATHER FOR FEB 10-28^TH

I know people have been reeling from the intensity of how quickly the United States is changing, and there is great fear and anxiety that is up. Part of how we think is connected to Mercury moving toward conjunction with the Sun into Feb. 9th for complete combustion, which is not over until Feb. 26, with the worst of it over by Feb. 16. Combust Mercury tends to feel more anxious and nervous. In the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius, it creates more fearful thinking I am amazed at some of the posts I am reading. As a Vedic astrologer, I have to be neutral, and as a businessman, I have to applaud what is happening. Has anyone in office ever tried to deal with our overspending and debt? If you give a card a credit card to a teenage and set him loose at the mall, what kind of bills are you going to get in the mail? This has been going on for years. No one remembers that President Clinton cut 400,000 government jobs while he was in office to balance the budget—and that was the last balanced US budget we have.

We are still dealing with Mars’s out-of-bounds situation until Apr. 1, and that puts Mars on steroids and gives this warp-speed energy to things happening and moving too fast. Great if you can handle it, but it does create havoc on the adrenals and can be overwhelming for most. Drink your calming herbal teas and slow down.

The Full Moon on Feb. 12 at 29.26 Cancer will be in the emotionally charged Gandanta energy, where stuck energy and emotion seem tied up in knots. So, while I love full moons, this one may seem more intense for a while.

Sun moves into Aquarius Feb. 12-March 14th and is not the Sun’s favorite place as it is seven houses from Leo, a sunset. Aquarius is a complicated sign with deep karmic tentacles from Rahu and Saturn and can seem heavy—particularly for Leos and Pisces. May force us to work on health more but can support biotechnology and technological advances, and Mercury in Aquarius from Feb. 11-Feb 27th will also be supportive but also afflicted with the Saturn conjunction late in the month, so get your computer transformations in order in the next few weeks before Mercury goes into Pisces for two months in March and April.

Saturn gets combusted, which means it will not be visible in the night sky, between Feb. 23 and Mar. 29. I find Saturn’s combustion rather intense as it increases fear and anxiety and will weaken the houses that it owns, Capricorn and Aquarius, so those house thatit represents in your chart may develop challenges.

Mars goes direct on Feb. 23 at Gemini 22 in the pada of Aries, and irregular energetic spurts, ups, and downs operating during Mars retrograde will shift and allow you to move forward with more energy and direction. I like the combination of Mars in Purnavasu (Gemini 20-Cancer 3.20) until Apr. 9, as it connects Mars and Jupiter and gives Mars more sattvic energy to use its energy for good.

Venus goes stationary/ retrograde at 16 Pisces on Mar. 1. It is a powerful benefic and is more powerful when retrograde for the force of good. It is not impacted by combustion when it is retrograde, so that will not be a problem. You will feel heavy affliction until it gets within 3 degrees of Rahu on Mar. 25 and then conjuncts Saturn, Neptune, and the Sun in early April.

Those of you moaning about Trump should realize that the world leaders look up to him also, and a plan to create peace between Russia/Ukraine has been drafted, and it has a chance with Venus in Pisces. The Gaza truce is still in force; hopefully, some solution will come. Iran is now worried about sanctions, and its proxies are firing less on Israel. We had suggested with Mars in Cancer that there would be less military aggression.

So, please look under the hood. The Pluto return is creating a revolution, but it has been guided by Jupiter’s benefic aspect and that will continue through late May. The US dasha period of Rahu/Mercury continues into June 2026. It is in the constellation of Pushya, which is connected to the deity Brihaspati, the priest of the gods who is like Jupiter, so there are some positive guiding forces even if there seems to be turmoil. . Yes, changes are dramatic and not fun for government workers living in DC, but if you have ever had to balance your budget and tighten your belt to prevent bankruptcy, it is not fun, but sometimes necessary.
